south padre island Fishing Report

all-day fishing trip today, the weather was so nice! cloudy but warm. caught a mix of fish - some snapper and a couple of drum. couldn’t ask for better company either, had my buddies with me. wind was chill, perfect for casting. can’t wait to do this again!

another fun day fishing! even with the wind blowing like crazy, I managed to catch a few nice speckled trout. used a popping cork with live minnows. got splashed a bit, but honestly, it was refreshing! packed up before the storm rolled in.

hit the water around sunrise, weather was decent, overcast again. went for some sharks and they were biting! caught a small blacktip, released it after a good fight. used a heavy setup with a wire leader, couldn’t risk losing it. felt great to be out on the water!

so we went out this morning, hoping the rain would hold off. it was a bit cloudy and windy, but we had fun! caught a couple of ladyfish and one small tarpon. they were jumpin everywhere! had to leave early cuz of another rain shower, but still worth it!

water was a lil choppy today, but we scored big! got 4 flounders and a couple of big snook. used gulp baits on jig heads, worked like a charm. it was overcast the whole time, felt super chill. loved every moment out there! made some great memories.
