sacramento bee Fishing Report

hey y’all, fished on the sacramento river today, the overcast really kept things cool, around 20 degrees. got out there around 6 am and it was so peaceful. used my new abu garcia rod n some bright yellow crankbaits. had a blast! drifted a bit and then bam, landed a nice 5lb striper! felt like a beast haha. wind picked up later but it didn’t matter, kept casting and caught another smaller one, like 3lbs. can’t complain! also saw some people catchin salmon upstream, maybe next time! anyway, great day to be on the water, hope y’all catch some too!
