orange beach inshore Fishing Report

cloudy again but felt great out there. fished with my dad and we got into some solid black drum! hooked into a couple over 5 lbs! used cut bait on the bottom, they really seemed to like that today. had a great time just being on the water, can't beat a day of fishing with family.

what a day! overcast skies but the fish were on fire. went with a group and we filled the cooler with 10 nice trout, biggest was 4 lbs! used live bait with a popping cork again, they couldn’t resist! everyone was in good spirits, nothing better than a day out fishing with friends, even if the sun didn't come out.

rained pretty hard today, but I hit the water anyway! caught a few nice specks again, not as many as I wanted but still nice size. 4 or 5 around 2 lbs. Used an old trusty topwater plug, worked just fine. was soaked through but the fish kept me warm 😉. let's hope it clears up soon!

wow, patchy rain this am but we decided to go anyway. fished near the jetty and caught a bunch of small sheepshead, they were biting like crazy! reef fishin' was a blast, upgraded to a heavier rod today, really helped with the bigger ones. got soaked but hey, that’s part of fishing, right?

today was foggy like crazy, couldn't see much out there. but we still tried our luck in the bay. managed to hook into a couple of flounder! used some jigs and grubs, pulled out two nice ones, about 3 lbs each. really had to hunt for 'em tho. fog made it spooky but fun, all part of the adventure!
