newport beach Fishing Report

Hey guys, fished Newport Beach today! It was partly cloudy and super chill. Got out there around 6 AM as the sun was coming up, water was a bit cool but not too bad. Used my trusty shimano rod with a live mackerel as bait. The bite was on! Managed to hook a couple of nice halibut, around 5 lbs each. The wind picked up a bit later but it was a fun adventure. Feeling pretty stoked about the catch and can’t wait to grill these bad boys tonight! Tight lines!
