mille lacs lake ice Fishing Report

spent the afternoon fishing, overcast skies but the fish were biting! ended up with a nice mix of perch and crappie. the wind was chill but it felt great. used a small bobber rig and had a blast with the kids. they loved it!

another cloudy day on mille lacs, but still had fun! caught a few smaller walleye, nothing huge tho. used my favorite pink jig, they seemed to prefer that. the water temp was a bit low but still got a couple bites. just nice to be out there.

what a day, just got drenched! fished in heavy rain today and it was tough. but, caught a decent bass right before dark. had to switch to a topwater lure to make them bite. they were still hungry, but man the rain was relentless. worth it tho!

hit the lake again, another gorgeous sunny day! it was super hot, but we found some shade and had great luck with crappies. i got 12 in just a couple hours all around 10 inches. had my ultralight rod, it was such a fun fight. love this place!

best day on the water ever! sunny skies and warm temp made for a killer day at mille lacs. i caught a massive 28 inch walleye on a leech! the wind was a bit much but the fish were biting. we got a cooler full of keepers, can’t complain! so stoked.
