lake mille lacs Fishing Report

back to mille lacs after a couple days, cloudy skies again but it was still decent fishing! caught more pike near the docks, they love that spinnerbait! just wish the sun would show its face a bit more...

man, that was a wet trip to mille lacs! fishing in the heavy rain was a struggle, got soaked! managed to catch a couple of tough bass that didn’t seem to care about the weather though. guess they were hungry!

fishing today was tough, overcast and chilly with strong winds. only managed to get one small perch. thought it’d be better but the fish just weren’t biting as they usually do. hope for better luck next time!

day on mille lacs was incredible, sun shining bright and temps were nice. landed 5 nice walleyes, all between 18 and 24 inches! caught them on leeches and live bait rig, they were hungry! this is my happy place!

wow what a difference a sunny day makes! went out on Sunday and had a blast, caught a bunch of bass on my new crankbait. it was pretty calm, fish were aggressive! happy dance all the way back to the dock lol.
