james river croaker Fishing Report

yesterday was a washout, literally! heavy rain kinda ruined my trip on the james. got one croaker but wasn’t worth it lol. made sure i had my rain gear but still got soaked. hoping for better luck next time!

had a nice lazy day on the river yesterday, mostly overcast but it was warm enough. caught some decent croakers, nothing huge tho. my gear was a bit rusty but I got the job done with some fresh shrimp! chill day on the water.

went out last night for some croaker fishin, wasn’t too bad out there! overcast but no rain thankfully. got a nice haul, biggest was about 3 lbs! my buddy pulled in a similar one, used bloodworms for bait, they loved it.

fished the james today, had some rain but we pushed through! caught a couple croakers, around a lb each. used some squid, they were bitin but we had to work for em. can’t let a lil rain ruin the fishin!

whats up, fished the river this mornin, kinda cloudy but not bad. only managed to get 3 croakers. wind picked up and made it hard to cast, still had fun tho! tried some new lures but they seemed to like the usual bait better.
