james river bridge Fishing Report

what a rainy day! we decided to brave the weather at the bridge but it was pretty rough. got soaked and only caught a couple of small fish, nothing to brag about. gotta love fishing tho, we still had a good laugh! maybe next time!

fished again today at the bridge, more overcast and kinda chilly. only got one small catfish, but enjoyed the company of my buds. we tried a few different lures but not much action. still a good day overall, can’t wait for warmer weather!

the weather was warm and overcast today, went to my usual spot at the bridge. caught 6 little bluegill and one nice crappie using minnows. the wind picked up a bit but didn’t bother me, nice relaxing day on the water.

went fishing this morning, partly cloudy. not much action but I did pull in a nice 4lb bass on a dark green jig. water was pretty low, saw a lot of guys casting but they all seemed to be struggling. better luck next time, I reckon!

headin to the james river, looked like rain but we took our chances. got a few bites but only landed a small bass. stopped by the local bait shop for tips, they said to try buzzbaits. we’ll hit it again tommorow if it clears up!
