lake james Fishing Report

had a decent time today even though it was overcast! 2 bass and a nice bluegill. used a light tackle and some live bait which worked better than i expected. the wind wasn’t too bad either. felt good to get out there and fish even if it was chilly! hoping for more days like this!

overcast day again, felt like winter! went out early but only caught one catfish. tough day on the water, i thought the weather might push them to bite but nah. used some shrimp and lures, but i think im gonna stay home next time till it warms up a bit!

man today was rough! only fished for a bit, it was super cold and rainy. managed to get one small perch but that was it. used a spinner but nothing was biting. guess the fish are hiding out from the weather... looking forward to warmer days for sure!

another rainy day at lake james! caught a couple of smaller pike but it was hard going with the wind picking up. had a nice set of lures but they just weren’t interested today. really hope the weather clears up soon, missing my good fishing days!

hit the lake again, this time it was overcast and pretty chilly. only got a couple small ones but i did see some big ones swim by. used a crankbait, but they just weren’t biting today... frustrating! gonna wait for a sunnier day, feel like they’ll come out more then.
