cowlitz Fishing Report

fished Cowlitz today, man what a day! perfect weather, bright sun and a nice breeze. got there around 6 AM. used my favorite rod, a medium-action with a pink bobber and egg. i couldn’t believe my luck! caught 5 steelhead, the biggest was like 8 lbs! they were biting like crazy in the early morning, then it slowed down but still had fun. packed up around 1 PM, sunburned but totally worth it. anyone heading out there soon should def give it a try! tight lines!
