big sandy lake Fishing Report

cloudy skies today and not too windy, felt perfect for fishing. went with my uncle, and we crushed it! landed like 15 bass, biggest one was 4lbs. we were using crankbaits and had a blast. even got some nice pics. gonna smoke some of them this weekend!

wow, big change in the weather today! freezing cold and pouring, not ideal for fishing. still went out tho, caught a few small perch. nothing serious. wind was brutal, kept losing my bait. gotta say though, casting in the rain has its own kinda peace. back to the drawing board!

yikes! another rainy day and i forgot my rain jacket. couldn’t fish as long as i wanted. but hey, hooked a decent channel cat! crazy how they bite even in the heavy rain. water felt colder too, but it was all good. it’s fishing after all, right?

rain came down heavy today, but that didn’t stop us! we braved the elements and caught quite a few nice pike! all using spinnerbaits. the action was insane! caught a 7lb monster - felt like a workout bringing it in! totally worth it tho. can’t wait to cook it up!

cloudy day out at the lake, the wind was pretty chill, but we managed to pull a few nice bass. used some topwater frogs early in the morn when it was calm. those lil guys sure do hit hard! we got about 4 decent ones! next time we gotta bring a bigger cooler though.
