big bear Fishing Report

fished at big bear today, had a super chill time! weather was on point, sunny and nice, about 26 degrees. got out there early, like right before sunrise around 5:30. used my trusty spinning rod with a jointed crankbait, and man did it pay off! caught 5 trout, all around 1-2 pounds, and a big ol' 4 pounder that gave me a real fight. had some snacks on the boat and just soaked in the vibes. ran into some other guys who were struggling a bit tho. guess my choice of lures was right on. as the sun went up it got a lil windy, but it was still great. packed up around 1 pm, feeling pretty happy with the catch. might head out again next weekend if the weather holds up! 🌊🎣
