french creek Fishing Report

last trip to french creek was a blast! 13.4°C but still felt good! landed 5 trout all over 2 lbs. good day for some catch and release! water clarity was decent too, saw lots of fish swim by. can’t wait to come back!

fished at french creek, lots of drizzles today. got lucky with 3 decent sized trout. used a red and white bobber with worms. was cold, but the fish were biting! loved every moment of it, even got my feet wet.

hit french creek this morning, had patches of rain but was still fun. caught 4 trout, lively ones! used some marshmallows on the hook. the weather kept changing, but it didn’t stop the bite. had a blast!

man, today was a washout! heavy rain showers all day at french creek. but i managed to catch one hefty brown trout, about 4 lbs! used my favorite green jig, it was a wet and wild ride! ended up soaked but worth it for that catch!

fished at french creek yesterday, super overcast - perfect for fishing! didn’t catch much tho. two little cutthroat made it into my net, but nothing big. i tried spinners and even worms, no luck. weather was kinda moody too, maybe that was it?
