bow river fly Fishing Report

wow today was something. storms were brewing but managed to sneak in some solid fishing. caught a few decent sized trout before the thunder rolled in. used some dark streamers which worked like a charm. gotta love the bow river!

sunny day on the river, finally! caught a nice mix of trout using streamers, all were on fire today. biggest one was a 20 incher! felt like a pro out there. weather was perfect, couldn’t ask for better conditions.

fished during the heavy rain today, what a struggle! only got a couple nibbles. finally hooked a fat 17 incher in the last hour. should’ve brought a rain jacket, but hey, that’s fishing. got muddy but still fun!

another day on the bow! rain was on and off but got a few bites. nothing huge, but i did manage 2 smallish trout. the wind picked up which made casting tough. still had a great time enjoying the outdoors. will definitely be back!

got soaked today, heavy rain made things tricky. still, i braved the elements and landed 3 nice browns. they were biting pretty good during the showers. used my trusty wet flies, just wish the sun would’ve popped out for a bit.
