bowmanville creek Fishing Report

may 26, went fishing in some crazy fog! temp was nice though. couldn’t see much, but landed a couple of nice fat rainbows on spinners. it was super eerie but in a cool way, like i was in a fishing movie or somethin.

on may 24, the weather wasn’t so great, rain off and on. caught one decent bass around 3lbs before the rain got heavier. had to pack up early but still glad i went out. can’t wait for better weather!

fished bowmanville on may 18, was partly cloudy with some wind. managed to reel in a couple small perch. used worms, they were biting pretty good! we were all shivering but still had fun, ya know!

May 15 was a bit gray but i got lucky! couple of nice trout hit my line with a green jig. they were hungry despite the cold wind. even had a moment where the fish jumped right outta the water, what a sight!

man what a day on may 9! sun was shining, caught a few pike — biggest was like 4lbs. spinnerbaits were the ticket, that and my favorite blue/white color combo. water was clear, fish were hungry! hope to hit it again soon.
