niagara river Fishing Report

did some fishing on the niagara, weather was still a bit iffy with rain patchs. got lucky and caught a nice 4 lb trout on a mepps spinner. spent a relaxing afternoon just casting and tryin to keep dry. overall, not bad for a rainy day.

went out to niagara for some late afternoon fishing, patchy rain but the fish were on fire! landed a few pike, biggest was about 7 lbs. used a spinnerbait, they were really hungry. the thrill of the catch was just awesome even with the weather being weird!

ahhhh finally some decent weather! it felt great out, got to the river early and hooked a couple of nice bass, one was 5 lbs! used a topwater frog lure, they were super aggressive today. felt like a pro! best day this month for sure!

cloudy today but I was hopeful. went for some trout, caught a few but nothing over 2 lbs. using my trusty ultralight rod with some spinners. nice day overall, just chillin by the river with a buddy, can’t complain! gonna try again on the weekend.

went out this morning, rain kept coming down. managed to catch a couple nice smallies around 3 lbs each. they hit on crankbaits but I had to work for em. nice to see em biting even when weather was rough. boat was a mess tho! haha.
