howe sound Fishing Report

cloudy day today but it was nice to be on the water! caught a few nice sized salmon, the weather felt just right. used a few lures, had good action. hope to come back soon and catch more!

whoa, hard day out there, rain made everything slippery! only landed a couple of small fish. we tried for halibut but not much luck. but hey, fresh air and friends, can’t complain too much. just gotta keep trying!

another rainy day out at howe sound... got a bit chilly too! but we pulled in a decent coho, about 6lbs. used a bright pink hootchie. hooked into a few more but lost them at the boat. still a good day with the crew!

fishing was a bit slow, had some rain on and off all day. managed to land a couple of small halibut, they were barely keepers though. switched up my bait to squid and got a few bites. all about patience, right?!

had patchy rain today while fishing, not ideal but hey fish don’t care right? used some fresh herring, got 3 nice pink salmon! they were biting pretty good. still cool weather but it was worth it for sure.
