rapid bay Fishing Report

wow, what a cold one! fished rapid bay today and only caught one tiny flathead. water was icy and wind was biting. feels like winter already! but still, it felt good to be out there, just need to try again when it warms up!

cloudy day at rapid bay, not much luck but caught one nice 3kg whiting. water was a bit rough but i just kept casting. still had fun with friends just hanging out. sometimes ya just gotta enjoy being outside!

was out at rapid bay again today. the sun was shining but still a bit chilly. only caught a couple of small bream but had a blast with the mates. we just enjoyed the weather and the laughs. sometimes it’s not about the catch!

what a day at rapid bay! sunny and warm, finally! hooked a big flathead, roughly 2kg, right off the sandy point using some prawns. the line was screaming! even got a small crab in the bucket for dinner later, can’t wait to eat it! yay!

hit rapid bay in the arvo yesterday, sunshine all day! caught a solid 4kg whiting on my old baitcaster, felt like a monster! water was glassy, so stoked with the catch, and got some nice pics too. gotta love this time of year!
