22nd May is when I went out solo, looking for anything that bites! had some light showers again but it didn’t stop me. landed a decent whiting and a dart, used beach worms for bait. really chill day with a beautiful sunset too, felt so good to be out there!
hit the waters again on 6th May! it was patchy rain again, but I got a few bites. caught a tiny trevally and lost a bigger one right at the boat! used a popper lure which really got their attention. can’t wait to get back out there asap!
5th May was another rainy day but I was determined! caught a couple of small bream and a few estuary cod. just used some shrimp on a hook and casted around the rocks. really enjoyed the peacefulness, even with the rain, it’s always nice out here.
went out on the 4th May when the rain was on and off, thought it’d be a bust. But nope! I landed a nice jewfish! had my heavier gear with me in case of bad weather. we set up under some trees for cover and it worked out! best catch of the week!
1st May, wow the wind was crazy! out there trying to find some reef fish but waves were up. I did manage to catch a small mackerel but it wasn’t easy! used a trolling setup but with all that choppy water I was just happy I didn’t capsize! LOL.
