tackle world hervey bay Fishing Report

fished in the rain today, little wet but worth it! caught a bunch of trevally, they were biting non-stop. used soft plastics and it was like they were waiting for me. love these rainy days!

another solid day, light rain but the fish were on fire. 3 good sized mackerels, had to be quick before they swam away! using metal jigs and they worked a treat. can't wait for the next trip!

wow, today was pretty crazy! it rained on and off, but caught the biggest coral trout of my life, around 3kg! trolled with a diving lure, it was epic! will definitely be back for more soon!

gosh today was wild! patchy rain but the fish were biting like crazy when it cleared. got a few nice snapper and a decent trevally. used a squid bait, they were hungry! packing the gear for another round tomorrow

rough day on the water today. winds picked up and it started raining. managed to catch a couple small whiting before heading in early. at least my pal had a good laugh at my raincoat, haha. hope tomorrow’s better!
