utah dwr Fishing Report

Hit up the Jordan River this morning, cloudy skies and a nice temp of around 24 degrees, perfect for fishin! Took my new Shimano rod setup with some soft plastic worms in green pumpkin color. I was kinda worried since the wind picked up a bit but I found a calm spot near the bank. Got lucky and hooked a decent 5lb trout! It fought hard but I managed to reel it in. It felt awesome! Caught another smaller one a bit later too. Can't wait to go back! Gonna try some topwater next time for sure. Love this spot, good vibes all around.
