st george island Fishing Report

so today was wild! we started out in a fog... couldn't even see more than a few feet. but we caught some nice mackerel after an hour or so - they were hitting hard! used a silver spoon and it was non-stop action. fog cleared a bit later, but we were already stoked!

it was a pretty chill day fishing in the overcast. hit the water after breakfast and tried for some sheephead. used fiddler crabs and bam! landed three nice ones! saw some other folks catching a few too. had a great time out there, definitely a keeper day.

we went out in the morning, bit foggy but we were ready! found some great spots along the jetties. caught a few nice trout around 18 inches. used live minnows and had a blast. the weather was muggy but we didn’t mind much. good vibes all around!

fished in the overcast this morning, caught a bunch of ladyfish, but didn't keep any. they were fun to catch on the light tackle tho! used a small silver spoon, saw some big guys jumping but they were just outta reach. still a good time on the water, enjoyed the calm.

had a great cloudy day fishing! hit the water early, went for flounder and boy did I get lucky! caught a nice 5 lb one! used a jig and was jiggin' it right by the shore. super stoked about that. weather was nice too, not too hot. perfect day! got some fish tacos lined up.
