southwest idaho Fishing Report

hey y’all! hit up the boise river this morning around 7am, water was super clear and the sun was shining bright. it was a bit windy but nothing crazy. i was using my trusty fly rod with some woolly buggers and let me tell ya, they were on fire! landed 5 rainbow trout, biggest was about 18 inches. caught them all in the slower pools near the rocks. some other folks were fishing too but i think they were all using spinners and not doing as well. it felt great to be out there, perfect weather for a chill day on the water. gonna head back tomorrow for sure, wish me luck again!
