southern utah Fishing Report

hey y’all, hit the river near St. George today, and man, what a day! the sun was blasting down but I was ready with my sunscreen. caught a bunch of rainbow trout, like 7 or 8, all around 1-2lbs. used this new fly rod I got, 5wt, and some dry flies - they were just hittin them like crazy! even had a couple of big ones snap my line, ugh. the wind was a bit annoying at 15mph, but meshed well w/the scenery. really peaceful out there, especially near sunset, looked magical. not a soul around too, just me and nature. best fishing day so far this summer for sure! tight lines, folks!
