southern maryland Fishing Report

hit the Potomac today, man what a day! weather was kinda crazy with some thunder in the distance but we weren’t gonna let that stop us. got out there around 6 am, water was a bit choppy but the bass were biting. i threw on a black and blue jig and boom, hooked a solid 4lb largemouth right off the bat! then caught a few smaller ones too, all around the 2-3lb range. had to dodge some gusts from the wind but it was worth it. headed back by 1pm but we were super stoked with what we caught. just love this time of year for fishing, can’t wait to go again!
