savannah river Fishing Report

wow, may 27 was a torrential downfall! but i still went out, caught this massive 8 lb catfish! felt like a challenge fishing in that weather. light tackle was tough, but the thrill made it worth it. i'll remember this trip for sure!

hit the river on may 26th, had some rain showers but didn’t let that stop me! had my best day yet, landed 4 bass total! used a spinnerbait, they were hitting hard. i love fishing in the rain, feels so wild and adventurous!

went out again on the 16th, got lucky with the weather! overcast but warm, caught a 6lb bass on a topwater lure. water was super calm, saw some big ones jumping but couldn’t get them to bite. still a good time with the buddies!

man, may 7th was wet! got soaked but caught 3 nice channel cats, around 2-3 lbs each. used stink bait which did the trick. it was muddy but I had my lucky rain jacket and it kept me warm! still a good day out!

fished the river on may 4th, overcast skies but perfect temp. caught a small crappie and a bunch of little perch. used a bobber and worms, they were biting all day. love the peaceful vibe out there, even if the fish were small.
