sarasota Fishing Report

yo, hit up sarasota this mornin, fog was thick like a soup but we decided to go for it. got on the water around 7ish and it was just beautiful, no sun yet. used my trusty spinning rod with a 1/4 oz jig head and some shrimp. first cast, bam! hooked a solid 5lb snook, felt like a freakin monster. then caught a couple smaller ones, like 2-3lbs each. all in about 2 hours before the fog started lifting. wind picked up a bit later but man, what a thrill. felt like the fish were just waitin for us! gonna head back out tomorrow for sure.
