rhode island Fishing Report

man, today was wild. got up early 'cause of the rain, but figured what the heck, let's give it a shot. hit the water at around 6am, kinda drizzlin but not too bad. got my trusty old rod n reel combo with some 10lb test line and a couple of green pumpkin senkos. fished the coves in providence and wham! first cast got me a nice 4lb largemouth. felt like a champ! kept at it until about noon, ended up with 5 total, all decent size, no monsters but solid. weather got a little crazy with gusts of wind but it just made it more fun, ya know? anyway, if u can brave the rain, the fish are biting! 🎣
