provo river fly Fishing Report

wow, rain was heavy today. but still pulled a small trout out, only 14 inches tho. had to hide under the awning. water temp dropped too. still fun, but can’t wait for the sun again!

stayed out until sunset, what a day! landed 5 fish, all on dry flies. the evening hatch was insane! cool breeze made it even better. love these moments on the river!

another sunny day on the Provo! caught a 22 inch beauty, just off the rocks. casting a streamer worked wonders! felt amazing, the river was so calm. definitely gonna come back again!

sunny skies today! got 3 good-sized brookies and lost a couple. used a popper and boy did they love it! the water was lower so easier to spot ‘em. can't beat fishing under the sun!

beautiful partly cloudy day on the river! caught a few smaller rainbows with my trusty 5wt rod and some dry flies. nothing big but loved every moment! just enjoying the peace and quiet, you know?
