middle provo river Fishing Report

man, was today crazy! thunder and rain on and off but still managed to catch 2 decent sized cutthroats. used a red copper john pattern. felt like an adventure with the weather! but hey, better than sitting at home!

fished under overcast skies, felt like the fish were on fire! caught my biggest of the year, a 17 inch rainbow, on a small midge pattern. got a good fight out of it and it really lifted my spirits. what a great day!

went fishing on a partly cloudy day, was absolutely beautiful! managed to catch a nice 16 inch brook trout on a spinner. water was clear and the fish were biting. definitely a day to remember, can't beat that!

had a rainy morning with patchy rain but still hit the river. caught 3 small rainbows on a woolly bugger. pretty slow day, but the fresh air and solitude were worth it. more rain on the forecast, guess it's part of the game!

well, today was a washout! heavy rain all afternoon, couldn’t even see where I was casting. only got one small fish, but hey, that's fishing right? still had some fun trying to outsmart those sneaky trout. hope next time is better!
