oak island Fishing Report

fished at oak island today and wow it was a mixed bag for sure! it started off drizzling which was kinda nice, kept things cool with the temp around 28°C. we hit the water around 7am and caught some decent flounder using shrimp on a jig head. the wind picked up a bit after lunch, but we still managed to get a few more bites. ended up with 5 flounders and 2 blues, not bad! my buddy even had a big one on that broke his line 😩 but overall a fun day out there! gonna try again next week, hopefully the weather holds up.
