long island north shore Fishing Report

finally some decent weather on the 25th! it was partly cloudy and caught a few keeper flukes! biggest one was about 4 lbs. used a gulp bait and it did the trick! felt good to be out there, can't wait for the next trip!

went out again on the 24th, rain was on and off. caught a nice 6 lb striper, pretty stoked about that! used a topwater lure and it was explosive! the thrill made the patchy rain worth it. love those fishing highs!

man, talk about wind! fished on the 22nd and it was brutal out there! only got a few nibbles and it was cold as ice. didn’t catch much but had a good time with the buddies. we gotta try again when the weather’s better!

went out for a few hours on the 16th, just kinda chillin' in the overcast. caught a few small sea bass on clam bait, nothing too big but it was fun to reel em in! had a nice day overall, even if it was cloudy. summer's comin!

rained again on the 14th, caught a decent bluefish this time! about 7 lbs. used a popper and it really got their attention. wind was howling though, made it tough to keep the boat steady. but hey, that battle was worth it! got soaked but who cares!
