indiana dnr Fishing Report

June 18th, 2025 folks. man, what a foggy day on the water today! got out real early, around 5am with my buddy Tom. the visibility was like 15ft max, so we were just drifting along with the current. we targeted some catfish - had a solid plan with our heavy-duty rods and cut bait. temps were nice, hovering in the mid-70s, but dang that wind picked up around 11am, made things tricky. we ended up catching 4 decent cats, biggest one around 8lbs! we were pumped! couldn’t see the other boats but definitely heard ‘em out there. ended the day watching the sunset at 9, feeling pretty good. can’t wait for the next trip!
