northwest indiana Fishing Report

man, what a crazy day fishing. me and my buddy decided to brave the torrential rain this mornin, and it was totally worth it! we hit up wolf lake around 6am while it was still pouring. i was using a black and blue chatterbait, figured the bass would be hungry. caught a 5 lb largemouth right away and then a 4 lb right after it! the rain let up a bit by noon, but we were soaked. ended the day with 4 nice ones, so hey, can’t complain. just glad my gear held up. if you're headin out, be ready for mud and slippery spots, but the fish were def biting! peace! 🐟🌧️
