folly beach Fishing Report

fished folly beach today, it was kinda cloudy with that thunder in the distance but we had a blast! got there just after sunrise, around 6:30am. started casting some live shrimp on a circle hook and BAM caught a nice 4lb redfish! my buddy caught a couple smaller ones too, all around 1-2 lbs. the wind picked up a bit later but we managed to stay out till sunset. the weather actually felt nice despite the chance of storms, just kept our eyes on the skies. brought a cooler for the catch and ended the day with some fresh fish tacos. gonna head out again next week, hopefully more luck then! 🎣
