duluth Fishing Report

fished the mississippi in duluth today, wow the temp was scorching at like 32 degrees! started early, right at dawn. had some thunder rolling in later but it was calm for a while. hooked into a few pike, they were biting on the chatterbait, like 4-5 lbs. lost one at the boat tho and it was a monster! used my new rod, a medium-heavy one, felt great. overall a solid day, just had to pack up when the storms got closer. we got back to the truck just in time for the rain. tight lines everyone!
