atlantic highlands Fishing Report

so we hit the atlantic highlands this morning, kinda drizzly but we braved it anyway. got out on the water around 8 am and the wind was a bit wild, but the fish were biting. we used some live bunker and managed to hook 4 striped bass, all around 24-28 inches. it was super thrilling, felt like a tug-of-war with each catch! gear was just my trusty medium-heavy rod and a Penn reel. honestly, the rain can be a pain, but when you’re reeling in fish it's totally worth it. overall, great day even with the weather being a bit sketchy. heading back out tomorrow, can’t wait!
