turangi Fishing Report

fished turangi today, weather was pretty miserable with patchy rain and cold temps, but hey, it’s winter right? managed to hook into a couple of good size rainbows, around 2-3 lbs each. used some nymphs and they were really biting. just had to be patient between the showers. the wind picked up a bit, made casting a lil tricky but we got it done. overall, not a bad day on the water, just wish it would warm up a bit! headed home with a smile anyway.
