taupo Fishing Report

got out to taupo today, light rain was kinda annoying but the fish were biting! caught 5 nice trout, biggest was around 4lbs. I was using a 5wt fly rod with some woolly buggers, they just couldn’t resist! saw some nice rises on the surface too but didn’t have the right flies for that. temps were chilly but worth it for the fun! ended my day just before sunset, beautiful views. can’t wait to go back soon!
