vancouver island Fishing Report

fished out near Victoria today, weather was super chill, partly cloudy and the temp was just right at 14°C. started early, sunrise was like 5:20 am or something. hooked into a couple of salmon around 7 am, used a green hoochie and it was on point. the wind was hardly there, maybe 6.8 km/h, which made it easy to cast. got one nice 10lb chinook and lost another one right at the boat, ugh! but hey, that’s fishing, right? all in all, a solid day out on the water, can’t wait to go again! 😄
