moreton bay latest Fishing Report

was out for a few hours today, partly cloudy but still nice. caught a few school mackerel which is always a bonus! temp about 18.9°c and hardly any wind so it was smooth sailing. had a great time chilling with mates and fishing, can't get better than this!

finally got a sunny day out on the water! fished from sunrise till noon and caught a whole bunch of trevally using some poppers. they were biting like crazy! weather was nice at 19.4°c, perfect time to be fishing in moreton bay, love it!

wow what a day! despite heavy rainfall we headed out. got soaked but it was so worth it! bagged a couple of sweet whiting on peeled prawns. temp was around 18.9°c and wind wasn't bad. not a lot of people out there, just us and the fish!

back at the bay this morning, still some drizzle in the air but we managed to land 3 nice squire. used a grunt fish lure, they were hitting hard. temp was cool around 19°c but not too windy. felt good to be out but the rain was a pain, haha

hit the water again today, weather was a bit iffy with rain coming and going. but hey, my mate and I each pulled a decent snapper, around 45cm, which was stoked about! used jigs and seemed to do the job. wind was mad tho, about 26 km/h, made it tough at times
