glenelg river Fishing Report

overcast today, wind was a bit strong but we didn’t let that stop us! caught a bunch of smaller fish, mostly perch. used some live bait, can’t beat the classics right? had a fun time anyway, always good to get out with pals.

omg today was freezing! but sun was out, so we braved the cold. hit some good spots and ended up with 4 good sized yellowbelly! used a jig, worked like a charm. even though it was chilly, the bites kept us warm!

went back to the river, it was cold and drizzly this time. caught only a couple small ones but that's fishing! tried some new lures, but nothing really worked well. still enjoyed the peace and quiet. guess that’s what it’s all about.

partly cloudy but warm afternoon. took the kayak out for a spin. caught a few small salmon, not my best day but hey, at least i was out there! used a spinner, nothing too fancy, but had nice fun paddling around. good to relax!

sunny day on the river! fished from around 8am, caught 7 nice flathead, biggest was about 55 cm! used a vibe lure, had a blast with all the action. the water temp was nice, fish were super active. even saw some jumpin!
