swan river Fishing Report

returned to the river this morning, it was chilly! had some good luck tho, landed a few nice bream plus a couple of small snapper. my new rod really made a difference, feeling pumped about my catch! can’t wait for the next trip!

the weather was crazy today, rain and wind! still went out and tried my luck. caught a decent size mullet but lost a big one that got away. so frustraating but still fun to be on the river, even with the rain!

fished again today, it was sunny but a bit windy. not much luck tho, only got one small bream. rain predicted for the next few days, but it’s always nice to be out on the water even if the fish ain’t biting.

sunny day on the river! my dad and I came out for the morning bite. caught 4 nice size bream off the bank, using some bread for bait. it was a hoot watching the bites. also saw a few pelicans diving for fish, so cool!

went out again today, sun was blazing! fished near the old bridge, hooked a nice 1.5 kg perch. man, they fight hard! used a lot of different baits but the prawn worked best. loving this time of year, water’s warming up!
