topsail Fishing Report

man it was a wet one out on topsail today! woke up early thinking i’d catch the sunrise but it was just cloudy and rainy. still, we hit the water around 7am despite the drizzle. we used some live shrimp and tossed our lines near the docks. the fish were biting like crazy! hooked into a couple redfish and a nice flounder, all around 2-4 lbs. my buddy caught a huge sheepshead too, probably 5 lbs! even with the rain, it felt great to be out there. the wind picked up a bit later but we stayed dry under the canopy. couldn't ask for a better day even with all the rain. can't wait to head out again soon. tight lines everyone! 🎣
