hey y’all, went out to Lady Bird Lake today despite the misty weather and wow it was worth it! got there around 7am right after sunrise. the air was nice and cool but the fish were biting! managed to pull in 5 decent-sized sunfish and 1 catfish within a couple hours. used my trusty ol' spinning rod with a light tackle and some earthworms. the wind picked up a bit later but still felt good on the water. it was kinda magical, mist hovering just above the surface and all. can’t wait to head back again, maybe next week! tight lines everyone!
