texas city dike Fishing Report

so I hit up the texas city dike this morning, misty but kinda refreshing. got there around sunrise and the water was super calm. brought my new baitcaster and threw on a live shrimp, man it was on! caught 5 decent speckled trout, one was like 22 inches! used a light tackle setup and it was a blast. couple folks around me were catching too but I think I had the best luck. wind picked up later in the day but I was already heading out by then. overall great day, excited to go back soon!
