mdnr Fishing Report

good evening all, today was a bit crazy out there. went to the lansing area around noon, it was raining cats and dogs but we didn’t let that stop us. caught only 3 pike, one was a solid 5lbs! used a jerkbait that i thought would get soaked but it still worked. wind was a bit much, but we found some spots sheltered from it. water was pretty murky from the rain, but somehow they still bit. kinda eerie out there with the rain but also kinda fun. planning to go back if the weather clears up. tight lines! 🎣
