hatteras surf Fishing Report

hey fellow anglers! hit the surf at nags head today around 5am right before sunrise. it was kinda rainy and chilly, like 14C but we braved it. tossed out some cut bait on a bottom rig and BAM! got a few nice pompano bites. like seriously perfect size for dinner, maybe 2-3lbs each. the wind was a bit much, 23km/h kept pulling my line but managed to land 4 of em. can't wait to cook em up tonight! overall a solid day despite the weather. tight lines everyone!
