delta stripers Fishing Report

hit up the delta for some striper action today, weather was perfect, sunny and not too windy which was a big plus. got there around 6am, right after sunrise. brought my favorite rod, a 7' medium action with a baitcaster spooled with some heavy braid. started off using a white swimbait and after an hour or so I got my first striper, about 5lbs! super stoked! tossed it back and kept fishing, then switched to a topwater plug and bam! hooked another one around the same size. water temp was nice, and the fish were active for sure. packed up around lunchtime. can't wait to go back, had a blast out there! 🎣
