daytona beach Fishing Report

man, today was wild! headed to daytona beach early, around 6am, but it was pouring rain with thunder rolling in. kind of sketchy but I went anyway. caught a couple nice flounders and even a small tarpon near the jetty! used my trusty old shimano baitcaster with live shrimp, they were hitting hard despite the crazy weather. the rain cooled things down but also made it kinda tricky to reel in. so worth it tho, even got soaked but had a blast! soaked but happy, haha. can’t wait to go back when the weather clears up!
